For security purposes, the Scout Support team does not have direct access to your passwords. However, you are able to recover your account (i.e. reset your password) from the Scout sign-in page.
How to Recover Your Account
The "Forgot your password?" link will take you to this screen, where you can enter your email address, then click "Send Reset Password Instructions":
Next, you'll receive an email that looks something like this, where you should click the green "Reset Your Password" button:
This will bring you to the password reset page page where you can enter a new password for your account:
Enter your new password in both text fields, then click the "Change My Password" button to confirm the change.
You can now use this new password to login moving forward!
Didn't Get the Email?
If you do not receive a password reset email, that likely means the email address provided is not in our database:
- If you feel that you should have been invited to Scout as a Sourcing Manager or Stakeholder, please reach out to the project owner or your Company Admin for information regarding your status.
- If you expected to be invited as a potential vendor or Supplier, you'll need to reach out to your contact with your potential Sourcing Manager and request an invitation, or have a teammate invite you to Scout.
