    Quick-Start Guide for Suppliers

Welcome to Scout! Scout RFP is a cloud-based procurement tool that many businesses use to streamline their procurement process.

Scout's goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to reply to your potential customers' RFXs, and to make sure you are able to get up and running quickly! Here is a five-step guide to help you get started.

    Step 1: Get Invited

    Open your invitation email.

Scout can be accessed by invitation only. Keep an eye out for an email invitation from either the Sourcing Manager on the Event, or one of your teammates who has already been invited:

    Didn’t receive the email?

If you don’t receive your invitation email, check your spam folder! We also recommend asking your IT team to whitelist the following domain: amazonses.com.

Step 2: Sign Up for Scout

Use your Invitation Email to sign up for Scout.

Click the green "View this RFx" button in your Invitation Email to open the Scout Sign-Up page:

Here, you can update your contact information, and create your password!

Click Next to get your Confirmation Email.

    Step 3: Confirm Your Account

Use the Confirmation Email to finalize your account.

When you click Next on the Sign-Up page, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Click the green button to get started in Scout!

    Step 4: Access the Event

Open the Event from your Scout homepage.

Once you’ve logged in, you will see the Events to which you’ve been invited listed on your homepage.

Click on the title of the Event to open it:

Prepare your response and invite teammates.

When you open the Event, you will be able to review the information provided by the Sourcing Team and begin working on your Response. To add colleagues to collaborate with you on the Event, enter their email in the Invite Team Member section of the page:

Submit questions to the Sourcing Manager.

Use Scout’s Message Center to ask questions and view other messages from the Sourcing Manager! Don’t worry, all your questions are confidential.
