To make Intake and Pipeline more flexible, we want to provide our customers with the option to hide Scout's default fields within the product. This allows you to configure the tool to better fit your company's process.
Hiding Scout's default fields in Pipeline helps sourcing professionals to improve:
- Process Customization - by increasing flexibility to support unique business processes
- Business Collaboration - by improving Stakeholder experience
- Operational Efficiency - by simplifying Project view focused on strategic sourcing and streamlining request submission for business stakeholders
Where can you hide Scout Fields?
- Intake Form
- Projects in Pipeline
How do you hide default fields on Intake?
Company Admins can now select which Scout Default Fields they want to hide from intake on particular Project Types. By default, all fields are checked and will appear on intake; any field that is unchecked on the Intake settings for that Project will no longer be a field on the particular Project Type’s Intake form.

How do you hide default fields on Project Types?
Very similar to how to Company Admins can select which Scout default fields they want to hide on Intake, they can also do this on particular Project Types as well. Again, by default, all fields are checked and will appear on projects. To remove any of the default fields you can navigate to the specific Project Type in Settings, and uncheck any fields that you do not want to appear on that specific Project Type. Note that fields hidden on Projects are also hidden on Intake.

Note: Removing the Milestones default field will get rid of start and end date, as well as the ability to add in custom milestones.
How do you hide Project Types on Intake?
Company Admins can select which Project Types to include on Intake forms. By default, all Project Types will initially be included on Intake unless they are removed in Settings. Stakeholders will only see Project Types that Company Admins have included for them, thus offering a cleaner, simpler Intake process.

With this added flexibility in Pipeline, the Scout experience can be more personalized. Additionally, this enhancement improves the Stakeholder’s experience and streamlines the Intake process.
