This article is specifically for Company Admins that are looking to set the up the Financial Details for their company’s Savings Tracker in Scout.
We will cover how to customize your company's:
- Fiscal year
- Savings Goal
- Savings Types
It is our hope that by customizing these 3 fields, your company will be able to better leverage Scout to manage your company Savings!
Begin Customizing
First, navigate to the Settings panel so you can begin customizing your Savings:
Once in Settings, scroll down the page and click Financial Details:
This brings you to the Financial Details Settings page where you can customize your Fiscal Year, Savings Goal, and Savings Type!
Fiscal Year
Set when your company’s fiscal year is by adjusting the day and month and then clicking Save to make the changes reflect in Scout:
Savings Goal
Set when your company’s fiscal year is by adjusting the day and month and then clicking Save to make the changes reflect in Scout:
Note: The currency reflected on the Savings Tracker will match the default currency that has been set for the company account.
Savings Types
You now have the ability to enter various different Savings Types for your company.
To do so, simply enter the name of your Savings Type, select whether you would like it to be calculated as recognized Savings, and then click Save to make these Savings Types appear in various different Company Projects:
Similar to Custom Fields, you can select whether you would like these different Savings Types to show up on all of your Projects, some of your Projects, etc.
