Pipeline and Contracts help Scout Users manage team efforts and organizational workflows. Those same users look to Reports to help dig into their processes to keep them on track, identify bottlenecks and find ways to improve. With Cycle Time reporting, you will now be able to understand how long Projects, Contracts, and Events are taking within each state.
Let's learn how to run a Cycle Time Report for your Projects, Contracts, and Events!
Reporting Cycle Times
Step 1: Navigate to Reports
From the Navigate menu, select Reports from the drop down:
Step 2: Select the Projects or Contracts Dataset
Under Report Data, click on Dataset, then select either Projects, Contracts, or Events based on what you are looking to display:
Please note: Cycle Times are only available for the Projects, Contracts, and Events Reports at this time.
Step 3: Select Statuses to Report
After selecting the Project, Contract or Events dataset, clicking into Filters & Columns from the filter selection now includes statuses. Users can now select the status they would like to include in Reports.
Any statuses you select can be filtered further by range.
After selecting your statuses and desired ranges, clicking the Refresh Report button will allow you to see the duration for each state your Projects, Contracts, and Events are in.
Our hope with the new Cycle Times Reporting functionality is that you will be able to run more relevant and robust Reports to meet your teams' reporting needs!
