    Supplier Side Scorecard in Forms

As a part of Supplier Risk Management, Scout gives Sourcing Teams the option to include a scorecard in the Supplier Form.

This allows Suppliers to self-assess and provides the Sourcing Team with the option to include the Supplier's self-assessment scores in a side-by-side comparison with stakeholders scores.

In this article we will cover:

      • How Sourcing Managers can include a Scorecard in a Supplier Form.
      • The Supplier's view of the scorecard in the Supplier Form.
      • How Sourcing Managers can compare scores in a side-by-side comparison.

How Sourcing Managers can include a Scorecard in a Supplier Form.

First, Scouring Managers should create a Project with the Project Type: Supplier Form and update the Title.

In the Supplier section, open the Supplier Directory and choose the Supplier(s) you intend to send the Form. Then click "Add To Project".

Likewise, in the Stakeholder section enter the Stakeholder(s) you would like to view/participate on the  Project.

Now, we can add a previously created Form. Click into the Forms section of the Project, click "Add Forms", and in the side window add the Form to the Project.

There are two important steps to include the scorecard in the Supplier Form.

    1. In the Form section, click "Include Scorecard For Suppliers" from the Stakeholder Scorecard drop down. Next, enter a due date for the Supplier Review Form and click "Publish".

*Note: The Form has been published to the Supplier, but the scorecard is not visible to the Supplier until it is Pre-Published.

    2. To make the scorecard visible to the Supplier the Sourcing Team must Pre-publish the scorecard.

To do this, enter a due date for the Stakeholder Scorecard, then click "PrePublish".

Notice that in the Stakeholder Scorecard section the Supplier's name now appears.

In the event, the Supplier will have a Forms section and a scorecard section. To open the Form the Supplier can click on the Form title or the "Edit" button.

To open the scorecard the Supplier must click the "Edit" button.

In the scorecard, the Supplier can score themselves and has the option of submitting the review from within the scorecard page.

The Supplier also has the option to "Submit Scorecard" and "Submit Form" from the survey page.

*Note: The Supplier must click both "Submit Scorecard" and "Submit Form" to submit both. Just clicking "Submit Form" will not submit the scorecard.

How Sourcing Managers can compare scores in a side-by-side comparison.

Once the Supplier and the Stakeholder have completed the Scorecards, the Sourcing Manager can compare their responses by clicking any of the "View Scorecard" buttons.

The Supplier's self assessment scores will appear on the right side of the Scorecard Comparison page.

For a deeper dive into responses, the Sourcing Team can click into a specific question to see Stakeholder responses and the Supplier's (Mac Town LLC) self assessment score along side each other.

*Note: The Supplier's scorecard score is not added into the total score (70%) the Supplier receives.

Adding a Supplier Scorecard to a Form is a great way for Suppliers and Stakeholders to assess their professional relationship.
